Join the library for this special event with guest author and library advocate Shamichael Hallman at the Central Library from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 6. 

Hallman will present his soon-to-be-released book, "Meet Me at the Library: A Place to Foster Social Connection and Promote Democracy, " which also features Mesa County Libraries. Hallman will join Mesa County Libraries Executive Director Michelle Boisvenue-Fox to discuss the evolving role of libraries in the 21st century and how Mesa County Libraries are continuously growing and adapting to meet the needs of our community.

While the book will not be available to the public until the week after the event, attendees may purchase a ticket that includes an advance copy of the book for $20 (retail: $24.00). Hallman will be available to sign the book after the event. Tickets without a book are also available for $5. Light refreshments will be served.
