The 39th anniversary of Grand Junction's Art on the Corner will be celebrated the first week in October during the downtown Grand Junction Art Fest. Regional poets Lisa Connors, John Nizalowski, Trish Hopkinson, Jill Burkey, Kyle Harvey, and John Anglim will present ekphrastic poems inspired by sculptures or murals in the city's permanent collection.

Here is the walking order for the caravan of poets: 

Meet at the big chrome buffalo at 4th and Main at 2:00 p.m. where Wendy Videlock will give an invocation to the arts and Kyle Harvey will read.

 South on 4th to Dew Drop Inn where Lisa will read.

Then back to Main to Gelato Junction for Head in Progress where John N will read.

Walk several steps east and stop at Bison Legacy in front of GearHead Outfitters (formerly Summit Canyon) where John A will read. 

Then continue east on Main toward Main St Bagels, stop near Brown's Cycles for Gathering Soul where Trish will read.

Then continue east on Main toward The Avalon, stop at Dalton Trumbo where Jill will read.
