Words, Wine & Open Mic

Rosemerry of Placerville will perform her beautiful poems, sing a couple of songs and speak about reframing our thoughts by reframing our language.

The performance will be followed by an Open Mic so come share a song, a story, a poem, a joke or anything you've been keeping up your sleeve— or just come listen. All are welcome.

Rosemerry performs and teaches across the country at various teaching institutions and retreats. She co-hosts Emerging Form-a podcast on creative process. Her poetry has appeared in O Magazine, on A Prairie Home Companion, on PBS News Hour, at Carnegie Hall, in back alleys and on river rocks. Her books include Hush, (winner of the Halcyon Prize), Naked for Tea, (finalist for the Able Muse Award), and Everyday Life with Rumi. Her most recent book is All the Honey. Rosemerry served as Western Colorado's poet laureate from 2015-2017.
