ABOUT FRANK COONS - Frank H. Coons is a retired veterinarian and poet living in Colorado. His work has appeared in Pilgrimage, Evening Street Review, Plainsongs, Pinion, Caesura, Fruita Pulp, SantaFe Literary Review and elsewhere. His first collection of poems, Finding Cassiopeia, was a finalist for the Colorado Book Award. His second collection was Counting in Dog Years. Both were published by Lithic Press. Another chapbook, Flash of Yellow Wing, was published by Orchard Street Press. He was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2022. He lives now in Arvada, CO, with his wife Teri and is blessed to be near his two grown children and three grandchildren.
ABOUT LEW FORESTER — Lew Forester is a social worker, poet and painter who lives in Arvada, Colorado. The author of Dialogues with Light (Orchard Street Press, 2019), Lew's poems have appeared in Atlanta Review, Sky Island Journal, Pinyon, Main Street Rag, Blue Mountain Review, Slipstream, The MacGuffin and other journals, magazines, and anthologies. His new collection, The Rooms Between, is forthcoming in 2024 from Kelsay Books. He is the 2024 winner of the Malovrh-Fenlon Poetry Prize.
